  1. Ayat al-Kursi

    Qur'an verse

    اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ

    Allahu la ilaha illa huwa, al-Hayyu al-Qayyum...

    Meaning: Allah — there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Whoever recites it in the morning is protected until evening.

  2. Al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq & an-Nas

    Qur'an verse

    قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ… قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ… قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ…

    Qul huwa Allahu ahad… Qul a'udhu bi-Rabbi al-falaq… Qul a'udhu bi-Rabbi an-nas…

    Meaning: The three protective surahs, recited three times morning and evening; they suffice you against all things.

  3. Sayyid al-Istighfar

    اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

    Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduk...

    Meaning: O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant... Whoever says it by day with certainty and dies that day enters Paradise.

  4. Asbahna wa asbaha al-mulk

    أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ

    Asbahna wa asbaha al-mulku lillah, wal-hamdu lillah...

    Meaning: We have entered the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah; all praise is for Allah; none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone.

  5. Raditu billahi Rabban

    رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ نَبِيًّا

    Raditu billahi Rabban, wa bil-Islami dinan, wa bi-Muhammadin nabiyyan

    Meaning: I am pleased with Allah as Lord, Islam as religion, and Muhammad ﷺ as Prophet — said three times.

  6. Hasbiyallah

    حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ، عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ

    Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa, 'alayhi tawakkaltu...

    Meaning: Allah is sufficient for me; none has the right to be worshipped but Him; in Him I put my trust — said seven times.

  7. Bismillah alladhi la yadurru

    بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ، وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ

    Bismillahilladhi la yadurru ma'asmihi shay'un...

    Meaning: In the name of Allah with whose name nothing on earth or in heaven can cause harm — said three times.

  8. SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi (x100)

    سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

    SubhanAllahi wa bihamdih

    Meaning: Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him — whoever says it a hundred times has his sins forgiven though they be as the foam of the sea.
